Hello, I wanting to save up some money, but I can't seem to find out any ways I can do this. Today, I got a popup for a desktop background site and thought, "Hey, maybe I could sell some desktop backgrounds!" Do you think this would be a good thing to try? I would make them myself, but since I'm not the best computer graphics artist, I would sell them pretty cheap. I have a paint program where you can add cool features to pictures, so I could apply those to them too.
Please give me your thoughts on this idea. Thanks to everyone!

You will need to be really creative in order to be competitive. As far as being successful you never know what captures the eyes of other people. I would suggest maybe for beginners looking over other peoples backgrounds and go from there, Start your own web site and don't use a middle man. There are several free softwares available for setting up an online shop. All it takes is one background to sell for $1 to 100,000 people and you've been successful.

I'm afraid to say this, but if you're nothing special with your computer graphics, then this would more than likely be a fruitless venture. Granted, most of those sites that offer them via popups are clearly not that great either, there are some real, professional grade ones out there too. Even *they* struggle for business.
